My name is Erek Maksutov, and I’m the founder of Real Quick Moving.
I started this business with one simple goal: to help people move quickly, safely, and without stress — just like I would want for myself.
I came to the United States from Russia, and like many immigrants, I started small. At first, I was doing moving jobs using just my Toyota Sienna. No van. No team. Just me and a strong work ethic.
Little by little, job by job, I reinvested everything I earned. Eventually, I was able to rent a van, and not long after, I bought my own high-roof cargo van.
With that van, Real Quick Moving was born.
In just a year of running Real Quick Moving, I’ve already helped many people move across New York City and beyond. What I’ve learned is that people truly value honesty, reliability, and respect — and that’s exactly what I bring into every job.

What is not included in the fixed rate / price?Our fixed rates do not include boxes, tape, plastic wrap, parking fees, or tolls. These can be added at an additional cost. If you have any questions about your quote, feel free to ask your dedicated moving consultant.

Do you disassemble and reassemble my items?We provide basic furniture disassembly and reassembly at no extra charge. This includes standard beds (non-storage), sofas, desks, and tables with up to 8 screws or an assembly time of less than 15 minutes. For more complex items, an additional handling fee may apply. Please let us know in advance if you have furniture that requires extra time or effort.

Do I need to save a parking spot for the truck?Parking in New York City can be challenging. While we don’t expect our customers to secure a spot, we greatly appreciate it if you can, as it helps make the move smoother. If parking isn't available, we may ask for reimbursement of parking fees or for someone to stay with the truck to avoid tickets.
